I went to visit my dear friend Felix Dennis on Mustique a few months before he died.

Here is the paradise he created…

He was already ill, but we shared poetry and good wine (well I drank the wine) and I treasure the memory of his company as he faced his death with courage, uncompromising honesty and often humour. We laughed a lot too…

His dear companion, Marie-France was there and here is a photo I took of them together.
